The purpose of Living Waters Interdenominational Church (LWICA) is to unite believing churches in fellowship for spiritual edification, for the winning of souls to Christ and for the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ through mission work. In order to achieve this purpose, this organization, in unity with the Holy Spirit, shall use the gifts that God has given it and the means of grace that God has placed at its disposal: the Word of God (as revealed in the Holy Bible), Baptism, Prayer and Holy Communion. All activities of The Living Waters Interdenominational Church Assembly are expressly designed to further this purpose. The continuing religious activities of this Organization are outlined below.
My vision for Living Waters Interdenominational Church Assembly is continuous growth in each of four areas:
•Spirituality
– As a spiritual Leader, my primary mission is to aid all members in growing spiritually. I accomplish this by creating and teaching Christian education courses designed to meet varying degrees of spiritual abilities, needs and levels of understanding. These courses include New Member Orientation a course designed to help new members learn about the churches they attend; Affinity for Discipleship, a course designed to introduce the new Christian believer to the basics of Christianity, worship and religious duties and behaviors; A Closer Walk, a weekly Bible Class designed to give the Christian believer a clearer understanding of the word and stronger foundation in the Word of God; Spiritual Development Class, designed to discover, encourage and support the development and use of spiritual gifts and ministries. In addition I continue to provide physical and spiritual aid to God’s people through counseling, prophetic, healing and the provision of blessings as the Spirit leads.
•Membership
- To increase the memberships of our independent churches and well as our organization. To upgrade the knowledge of clergy and to elevate clerics in this organization to appropriate levels in the organization.
•Financial Stability
– To enhance and maintain the financial stability of Living Waters Interdenominational Church Assembly. I endeavor to take part in strategic financial planning with each of member church of this organization for the purpose of increasing your individual ministry abilities. This is one of many steps in my plans to support you in your ministries. I encourage grant writing, offerings and auxiliary fundraisers as primary sources of income for the organization. It is my goal to work to access additional funding for outreach ministries through governmental and faith-based organization grants.
•Community Outreach
– We have partnered with the St. Teresa’s Shelter in Chicago for the purpose of finding and providing more permanent housing for those in need who are both in and out of our churches. Food Drives and Toy Drives are done during the holiday season to provide for the needy at Christmas time for those who cannot otherwise provide for themselves.
